Indian Head, Neck and Shoulder Massage
Beginners

An introduction to the basics of this relaxing massage technique which can be used on friends and family. Does not require clothing to be removed. Simple oils may be used later in the course. The course does not lead to accreditation. No special equipment is needed, though students may wish to buy some oils later in the course.

Iyengar Yoga

Beginners

If you are new to Iyengar Yoga, then this course will teach you all the basics. Students should bring a large towel/rug to the first class. Advice will then be given by the tutor on the basic equipment which is needed. Iyengar Yoga is held in the Gym, in the Sports Block, with access via the main School reception. (Note: separate timings and fees apply).

A healthy back is needed for life, not just for childhood! The Alexander Technique can help with many aspects of life, including pain, balance, posture and stress. The class will cover the basics for beginners and the next steps for those who have studied before. Bring six paperback books and a blanket/mat to the first class. Comfortable clothes should be worn. You’ve seen them jiving on Strictly, now come and find out how it’s done! Fun and fitness combined in a great new dance class for absolute beginners. Please wear trainers or similar. You do not need to bring a partner, but rock ’n’ roll is danced in pairs. This class is held in the Gym, in the Sports Block, with access via the main School reception.
