The History Department is a large and successful one at Prince Henrys. There is much enthusiasm for History among staff and pupils.

All students study History at Key Stage 3. Many students choose to study History for GCSE. The department achieves excellent results.

At 'A’ Level, History is a very popular subject chosen by many students. Again results are good. Some students in Years 12 and 13 have shown their enthusiasm for History by painting the walls and ceiling of 2 History rooms with historical events, themes and symbols. This is admired by younger students.

This contains four full size specialist classrooms and a well equipped central resource area including electronic resources.
