CAMBRIDGE BECKONS FOR YEAR 13!

Three students from Prince Henry’s are celebrating after they received offers from Cambridge University.

Following a tough application process, including interviews and additional written papers, Harriet Jeffery and Jack Auchterlounie both received offers to study Mathematics at Girton College and Emily Wallis received an offer to study Modern and Medieval Languages at Magdalene College.

The three Year 13 students achieved top grades at GCSE and have been following the Academic Pathways programme at Prince Henry’s, which helps students who want to apply to the very top Universities stand out from the crowd.

“Courses at Cambridge are so competitive and we are enormously proud of Harriet, Jack and Emily. They are extremely hardworking and thoroughly deserve these offers. Every year we help our most academically capable students with their ambitions to reach for the top and it is lovely when their hard work pays off.” said Claire Willis, Assistant Headteacher: Post 16 Learning.

The Oxbridge Academic Pathway is just one of several opportunities offered at Prince Henry’s, including the Medical, Teaching and Law pathways, the Excellence in Sport and Education Programme and a wide range of careers support, to help students succeed as they move on to the future.
