Leo Diffey, Year 7, played a magnificent innings in the recent Bunbury’s Cricket Cup tie between Prince Henry’s and Bradford Grammar School, scoring 110 not out.

Taking just 63 balls, he hit 24 fours, leading the batting for Prince Henry’s who won, overtaking a very creditable score of 160 for Bradford Grammar in the Twenty20 match.

“It was amazing to watch” said Dean Hyam, Area Leader: PE and Team coach. “At one point, Leo hit 5 fours in one over! It was a real display of quality cricket, he is a very talented player. Obviously, it’s early days in his career at Prince Henry’s but, combined with some sterling batting support from Freddie Roden and Dominic Tinslay, it looks like the future is exciting!”
