Partnerships
The key to making Prince Henry’s a truly global school is working in partnership with other schools, both within our local area and across the world. Students learn with and from their counterparts in other countries through exchange visits and curriculum-based projects, helping them to discover what makes the world such a rich and varied place.
Since 2005, Prince Henry's has held the highest level of the British Council's prestigious International School Award, which has subsequently been re-awarded every three years. Central to this is a commitment to developing collaborative projects with our partner schools around the world.

We also work in close partnership with the Otley, Pool and Bramhope Family of Schools, supporting language teaching in Key Stage 2 and planning joint projects to promote a sense of global citizenship.
In 2000, we established the Leeds Community Mandarin Chinese School (LCMCS) together with the local Chinese community, to enable children to learn and gain accreditation in their heritage language. We continue to support the LCMCS, which now runs as a very successful self-funding ‘supplementary school’ each Saturday, based at Temple Moor High School.
