We are all incredibly proud of our Year 11 students at Prince Henry’s, who, with the support of their teachers, have achieved an excellent set of GCSE results. They have shown remarkable perseverance since their education was first interrupted by the pandemic early in their secondary education in Year 7, to be rewarded with some extremely strong outcomes, particularly at the higher end.
"Once again we are all incredibly proud of our sixth form students who celebrate the culmination of their hard work today in receiving their well-earned exam results. A huge congratulations and well done goes to all of our students – you have flourished at Prince Henry’s, and we hope you can now enjoy your achievements and look forward to what the future may hold. The vast majority of students have succeeded in securing a place at their first choice university, apprenticeship or workplace. We wish all of them the very best for their next steps whatever their destination.”
Sally Bishop, Headteacher, Prince Henry’s Grammar School
Team GB Gymnast Harry Hepworth, who left Prince Henry's in 2022, delivered an amazing performance to win the first ever men's vault medal at the Paris Olympics.

Year 10 students spent their Timanyane (Global Citizenship) Day working with organisations in Otley. Students in Year 10 are celebrating after they became the leading grand prix team in England, winning themselves the chance to travel to Los Angeles for the World Final of the H2 Grand Prix Pro Series.
Our student Fairtrade Group took over the Buttercross stall in Otley, to promote Fairtrade products to local people. Prior to the event, the students had a fierce Bake Off competition, which was won by Hattie Michael in Year 10. They cooked cakes, biscuits, buns and more with Fairtrade ingredients.
