Universities and employers will be looking for experience which is relevant and recent, so everyone in Year 12 will be expected to organise a work experience placement in the summer term. 

University courses known to require work experience are Teaching, Medicine, Veterinary Science, Physiotherapy and Radiography. Other university courses also welcome relevant, practical work experience. Work experience also develops your personal qualities.

We have dedicated Work Experience Team, which supports students to organise their placements. One of our teaching staff, Miss Rosillo, co-ordinates the programme with students and staff. We use the Unifrog system to help students plan this, alongside their post-18 pathway.
