Comenius Project

Our Sixth Form students worked with their Czech counterparts to look at similarities and differences in terms of food, drink and lifestyle choices as part of our EU-funded four-way Comenius Project.

As well as our link with Dronninglund Gymnasium, we hosted a group 34 Danish teachers for a flying visit in September 2014. The staff members from Gentofte HF school, from north of Copenhagen in Denmark, spent the morning at Prince Henry’s meeting staff, observing lessons and seeing how the school runs. A level language students gave the visitors tours of the school, while members of the Senior Leadership Team gave presentations about the school’s approach to teaching and learning and how it maximises progress for students of all abilities. The visit came about following a request from a parent with link to the Gentofte HF School.
