Return to School March 2020
Following the Prime Minister's announcement on Monday 22nd February, school re-opened to all students from 8th March.
From 08/03/2021, other than students and teachers who are able to attend school as usual, the scenarios below apply:
Scenario | Expectation |
---|---|
Your child is self-isolating but is well enough to work from home - their Year group are back in school | Your child will be expected to follow their normal timetable and to complete work which will be set on Firefly. Where possible, your child may also be invited to attend the assembly, registration sessions and their lessons remotely. Attendance and engagement tracking will continue. |
Your child’s teacher is unable to be in school, but can deliver lessons from home | Your child will attend their normal lessons in school. The teacher will deliver their lesson remotely and there will be a cover supervisor in the classroom to supervise the lesson and facilitate its delivery. Lesson tasks will be set on Firefly and key pieces of work, identified by the class teacher, will be marked and feedback given. |
